In 2019 the McMasters Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and through the 2019 Open we were able to donate $4,000 to Team Foster. From the 2023 Open that number increased by over 14x to $56,655. As always, all remaining proceeds fund growth for future events and provide for free golf for Veterans and Active Duty Military.

= one service dog for one Veteran.
Neither the U.S. military, nor the VA, nor the government provide funding or support for service dogs for Veterans. While service dogs are vital tools in rehabilitation and recovery, they are also expensive and resource intensive. One service dog can take two years and more than $25,000 to properly prepare to partner.
Team Foster raises money to provide trained service dogs at no cost to local Veterans.
The McMasters Foundation, through the annual McMasters Open golf tournament, raises money in order to support Team Foster in its mission. #NoHeroLeftBehind
